The Ernest O. Norquist collection contains 471 Kodachrome slides that span the years
of circa 1951-1952. The slides illustrate the private life of Norquist that includes
family vacations to California and Canada along with several images of his family
and friends partaking in picnics, camping, and other family events. A significant
portion of the collection also contains slides of Norquist while volunteering for
the Boys Scouts and attending several related activities. Finally, within the
collection there are slides illustrating Norquist’s affection for the church as
nativity scenes, religious monuments, and churches are also depicted.
