Abstract:
Virginia Georgieff, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native, served as a member of Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVE) in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946. This collection spans the years 1942–1951 and contains materials acquired during her time in various Navy training and service with the WAVE in New York, Washington, Iowa and Idaho.
