Abstract:
David J. Marcou, a native of La Crosse, Wisconsin, has worked as a writer, journalist, editor and photographer. Barbara A. Pauls, now living in the Coulee region, was a student in Marcou’s Writing for Publication class at Western Wisconsin Technical College.

This collection consists of drafts and proofs (2002) of the book America’s Heartland Remembers: Words and Pictures Before, During and After September 11, 2001 , published by Writer’s Collective, 2002, co-edited by David J. Marcou and Barbara A. Pauls. Many authors contributed to the work, including students of the Writing for Publication class. Papers include a copy of the copyright registration form.
