Abstract: Records of the Textile Workers Union of America (TWUA), its immediate predecessor, the Textile Workers Organizing Committee (TWOC, 1937-1939), and its predecessor and sometime competitor, the United Textile Workers of America (UTWA, 1901- ), and its successor, the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union (ACTWU, 1976- ), including records of the TWUA international office; New York and New Jersey state directors' offices; the Research Division; Executive Council, President's, Executive Vice-President's, and Secretary-Treasurer's offices; and Dyers and Printers, Education, Publications, Organizing, Cotton-Rayon, and Woolen-Worsted Divisions. Present are subject files, correspondence, speeches, organizers' reports, news releases, publications, and expired contracts.
