Scope and Content Note: Additions, 1976-1979, undated, of science fellow Jill Wittels, and defense specialist Ron Tammen. Although Wittels worked primarily on NASA matters, her papers concern international trade, particularly in so far as it affected the shoe and leather industry. Tammen's papers consist of correspondence, 1976-1979, about waste and suspected abuses by the military that were discovered by the general public. A file of special correspondence includes exchanges with William Appleman Williams, Ron Nilsestuen (about Nelson Mandela), and Lisa Hunt Kyle, the daughter of E. Howard Hunt, as well as a long letter from a Concorde opponent.
