Scope and Content Note
Physical Collection
Council creates task forces to address matters of special concern to SAA and the
profession. Typically, task force records include correspondence, meeting minutes,
and reports. Researchers should also consult the records of the secretary and
executive director, who receive task force reports.
Web Collection
Reports of SAA task forces and working groups as submitted to Council. Included
are reports of the Annual Meeting Task Force, the Communications Task Force, the
Task Force on Archival Facilities, the Task Force on Sections and Roundtables, the
Task Force on Diversity, and others.
