(15 boxes) Scope and Content Note Physical Collection Council created Professional Affinity Groups (PAGs) in 1978 to provide members with an opportunity to meet and work with others of similar backgrounds and professional interests. All PAGs were renamed as sections at the end of the annual business meeting in 1983. Files typically contain correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, newsletters and other publications relating to the work of the section. Researchers should also consult the records of the executive director, who receives section reports. From 2009 to 2012, the Oral History Section created a series of interviews as part of the SAA 75th Anniversary Oral History Project.
