Abstract: This collection contains the records of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Center for Urban Community Development (CUCD). These records were created largely by founder Belden Paulson, during his years as the chair of the CUCD. The CUCD focused on educational programs that were four-fold: energy education, equal education opportunity, neighborhood community development, and futures studies. The Center for Urban Community Development records are particularly strong regarding community development and education. This collection is comprised of a variety of documentation, such as administrative documents, correspondence, program and project files, seminar files, conference files, and publications and pamphlets.
