Abstract: Records of the dean of College of Engineering and Applied
Science (CEAS), and its predecessor, the College of Applied Science and Engineering (CASE).
The majority of the unrestricted part of the collection consists of department and college
committee and faculty meeting minutes documenting curriculum changes, accreditation, and
graduation requirements. The dean's correspondence files and vice chancellor files are
mostly letters to and from college faculty and UWM administrators concerning curriculum
development, enrollment, equipment and space needs, funding, and staffing. The collection
also contains several reports from the Studies in Urban
Transportation series.
