Abstract:

Records of proceedings in civil and criminal cases including names of parties, types of actions, dates of actions, fees levied, and judgments. The court was established in 1895 with jurisdiction extending over criminal actions, equal to and concurrent with the jurisdiction of the circuit court; matters cognizable by justices of the peace, exclusive in Oshkosh in criminal and bastardy proceedings; justice of the peace civil actions; offenses under the ordinances of Oshkosh; and appeals from justices of the peace and actions removed from the justices. Each volume includes a name index. Volume 5 (1913-1916) is missing.
