Scope and Content Note

Records of the Barron Union of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, which had its headquarters in the city of Barron, and drew its membership from all of Barron County, Wisconsin. The Union was affiliated with the WCTU of Wisconsin and the National WCTU. The records consist primarily of a lengthy run of secretary's books, 1921-1936, 1941-1956, which include minutes of monthly meetings and membership rolls. Also included are two treasurer's books, which contain a listing of dues paid and receipts and disbursements. A folder of miscellany consists of a few letters and news releases.
