Scope and Content Note: Raw data from a 1969 poverty census examining the poverty status of persons by age, sex, and relationship to the head of the household. Most data is arranged by county. There are compiled numbers for all races in all counties with distinctions between urban and rural households. Data is also available in the following breakdowns: Chinese, Japanese, African American, white, Native American, and Spanish speaking.
