Abstract:
Administrative files of the council created within the Department of Natural Resources in 1967 to advise the department on matters relating to air pollution. In the early 1970s various council functions were integrated into Bureau of Air Management. Included are correspondence, incomplete minutes, reports and rules. Also contains minutes of Air Resource Allocation Council, 1982-1984, a temporary council attached to the DNR that worked closely with the council to foster industrial growth without deteriorating clean air. Records of the council post-1985 may be found in the Bureau of Air Management files. The council existed until 1991.
