Records of the State Superintendent's Council on Exceptional Education, previously known as the Wisconsin Special Education Advisory Committee, and the State Superintendent's Advisory Council on Special Education. Included are meeting minutes agendas and supporting materials spanning 1969-2001. Correspondence is chronological and dates from 1969-1997. Also included are records specifically from the period 1969-1973, when the Council was known as the Wisconsin Special Education Advisory Committee, including records on task forces and subcommittees, and drafts of committee reports.
