Abstract:
Records of the Wisconsin Credit Union Savings Insurance Corporation (WCUSIC), organized under s.186.35, Wis. Stats., to aid credit unions that develop financial difficulty. The WCUSIC preceded creation of federal credit union share insurance. Under s.186.35(10) and (11), credit unions qualifying for federal share insurance terminate protection or guarantees by WCUSIC and the Commissioner may liquidate the corporation. This series includes articles of incorporation, board of trustees minute books, general letters and other policy documents; board of trustees and other correspondence, public relations records, WCUSIC annual meeting records, summary planning and expense documents, copies of examination reports, and investment records. Also included are cash disbursements journal, cash receipts journal, general journals, payroll books, annual assessment income records, and other records documenting the history of the organization.
