Abstract:
Closed session minutes documenting activities of the Board of Nursing and several related organizations: the Committee of Nurse Examiners (also known under other similar names), 1916-1967, which supervised nursing registration examinations; the Committee on Nursing Education, 1921-1949, which set standards for all schools of nursing and registered graduate nurses; and the Committee of Examiners of Trained Practical Nurses (also known under other similar names), 1949-1966. “Closed session” minutes reflect only the action taken by the board, not the discussion surrounding the action, and are not confidential.
