Abstract:

Press releases and departmental memoranda issued by the public information office of the Department of Transportation relating to such subjects as proposed or completed projects, finances, legislation, economic impact, construction costs, highway safety, and scenic routes. Pre-1978 files were received from the Legislative Reference Bureau; files for 1978- came from the department and some releases include background information sheets and memoranda. Memos for 1968-1971 and 1975 are missing and for 1976-1977 are incomplete.
