Reel   1	Vol. 1: [Miscellaneous indexes; Conduct ratings , 1861-1865] Scope and Content Note: Preceding the conduct records of Volume 1 are two volumes labeled “Index vol. 1” and “Index vol. 2” which are alphabetical name indexes to Registration #1 to ca. #415. Next on the reel is a one-page insert labeled “Conduct and Earnings, Sept., 1864,” which gives a name, conduct rating, earnings statement, and remarks for several inmates. Pages 29-80 of Volume 1 itself contain an alphabetical name index referring to page numbers in the rest of the book. Page 81 and following pages contain monthly conduct ratings, 1861-1865.
