Abstract:

Minutes and related agenda materials, together with some unrelated subject files, mainly 1938-1975, of the Health and Social Services Board and its predecessor, the Public Welfare Board. In addition to the minutes themselves, the files contain departmental administration and policy information, budgets, reports, and relevant legislation reviewed by the board. This series is a consolidation of minutes received from the department secretary and deputy secretary.
