Scope and Content Note
This series is the best source of personal information for soldiers who joined Wisconsin units after their original organization. For men in this category the Red and Blue Muster Rolls often contain only the soldiers' names and the other informational columns are blank. In addition, the completeness of the information about draftees and substitutes is of special utility.
