Abstract:
Incoming correspondence and letterbooks of George W. Taylor, secretary of the State Board of Immigration, together with corrected pages for a republication of Northern Wisconsin: A Guide Book to Aid the Homeseeker which was never printed, and a list of names and addresses to whom presumably immigration information was sent. Taylor's outgoing letters concern land taxes, St. Paul railway issues, land and lumber prices, addresses of land agents, types of crops grown in Wisconsin, and other topics.
