Reel   1 Volume   1	1838, April 2 - 1854, February 3 Scope and Content Note: This volume is preceded by the Town Record Book of the Town of Racine, 1837-1838, 1841, 1848 (cataloged as Racine Micro Series 1). Targets for this series of board proceedings precede the Town Record Book and are not repeated when that record is finished. The Board of Supervisors held their first meeting on July 5, 1842. The Board of Commissioners held their last meeting on April 4, 1842. Pages 408-411 are blank, pages 412-414 contain a Nov. 18, 1854 Statement of Election Returns. The back of this volume contains a Roster of County Officers compiled by E. W. Leach and clipped from a Dec. 31, 1921 newspaper. It is repeated five times. This volume is 414 pages.
