Abstract:
Photographs and negatives, 1900-1938, relating to the Horticulture Department at the University of Wisconsin. Photographs consist of shrubs, trees and other plant life around Madison and other Wisconsin cities. Other images show horticulture students, at work and in class, and greenhouses at the University of Wisconsin. Images of plant species and trees are primarily organized alphabetically by their common name, and secondarily by location.
