Abstract:
Photographs, published illustrations, and occasional items of ephemera, relating to the women's suffrage movement, 1852-1920, including group and individual portraits, scenes of demonstrations and meetings in Wisconsin, Washington, D.C. and elsewhere, and first votes in 1920 elections. Portraits include Carrie Chapman Catt, Bashua Cornwall, Ada L. James, and Theodora Youmans. A view of a statue to Emmeline Pankhurst is also included.
