Abstract:
Photographs made by Photoart House. A series of photographs show military housing at Camp Douglas, Wisconsin, and Company G of the Wisconsin National Guard leaving Madison, Wisconsin, 1916. Other images include a panoramic photograph of Wisconsin Governor Emanuel L. Philipp and presumably members of the executive branch of state government in front of the state capitol in Madison, Wisconsin, on December 7, 1920; a panoramic photograph of a group identified as the R.L.C.A. gathered for an annual conference posed in front of the state capitol in 1915; a panoramic photograph of the Rotary Conference Ball (10th District) inside the state capitol; and a portrait of the Wisconsin All-State Orchestra, circa 1920. There are also photographs of businesses, schools, and groups in Madison, Wisconsin, circa 1926-1950.
