Transcribed genealogical materials copied and collected by Bertha Kleckner Phillips (Mrs. Nelson C. Phillips) concerning families in Freeport, Illinois, and their ancestors in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Included are Freeport area cemetery, school, and church records; Baptist Church records from Wingdale, New York; and information from family Bibles, wills, and other sources. Most of the families included are related to Mrs. Phillips or her husband.
