Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of ten volumes of the proceedings of the meetings of the union local from January 1891, through May 1927. Until April 1916, the entries were all in German; for the years 1916-1918, both German and English were used; and from 1922 to 1927, English was used exclusively. The records are not complete, as there are no entries for the periods 1903-1905, 1913 June through 1915, and 1919 through 1922 June.

The records are concerned with routine business of Local 113 including the disbursement of funds, initiation of new members, elections, etc. Also included is a record of monthly dues collections for the years 1900 to 1901.
