Scope and Content Note

Papers and photographs illustrating the involvement of Sandra Korducki (nee Aleksandra Lewandowski) in the Mazur Polish Dancers, the Polish Summer School, and the Walker's Point Youth and Family Center in Milwaukee. Included are newsclippings, programs, and photos of Mazur performances, some of which picture Sandra Lewandowski and her former husband, Arthur Korducki, whom she met through the dance group. In addition, there are a few mimeographed programs from the Polish Summer School, where Sandra taught dancing and singing from 1951 to 1955. As of 1981, Mrs. Korducki was a cook with the Walker's Point Center, and was active with the Southside Community Organization, where she worked with a self-help group for single parents.
