Scope and Content Note

Family papers and photographs of Kazimiera (Kay) Idzikowski and of her relatives. Included are a 1903 Russian passport and 1920 U.S. naturalization certificate of her father, Roman Berzowski, and a similar passport, dated 1905 and certificate (1937) of her father-in-law, Jan (John) Idzikowski, together with a few transcribed notes regarding family history. Included among the photographs is a November 1933 photo of the United Polish Choirs concert, with Mrs. Idzikowski at the piano; a 1935 photo of her sister-in-law, Josephine Idzikowski and her husband, Irwin Szwedowski; and three snapshots from the 1978 reception honoring Mrs. Idzikowski for her service to Milwaukee Circle Choir of the three Polish National Catholic Church parishes, at which she was presented an electric organ.
