Abstract:
Papers, mainly 1945-1966, of Virginia Hart, an instructor at the Wisconsin School for Workers during the 1940s and member of the Madison Citizens for Fair Housing, 1950 to 1964. The materials document labor instruction at the school and the fair housing drive in Wisconsin. Also documented is Hart’s interest in human rights and social welfare. Included is background and legislative material and some correspondence related to labor and housing issues.
