Abstract:
Articles of incorporation, organization history, lists of board members and officers, minutes, information on concerts and performers, publicity kit, correspondence, membership campaign records, treasurer's seasonal reports (1939-1979), and an account book (1944-1985) of the La Crosse Community Concert Association, a group which sponsored four national and international music and dance performances a year. The La Crosse Music Study Club (for which a history is included) offered an “Artists series” from 1919 to 1926 forming the basis for the association which affiliated with Community Concerts (a division of Columbia Artists Management, Inc.) and started its first concert series in 1932.
