Research materials gathered by Halbach, researcher and history editor-in-chief for the book, Journal of a Village: Hilbert, Wisconsin, 1873-1998. The research materials are organized by subject and consist of photocopies of publications and news clippings, and typewritten summaries of news articles from the Chilton Times (1871-1909), and the Hilbert Favorite (1909-1988), as well as from other unidentified sources.
