Abstract:

Minutes of the executive board, 1907-1940; correspondence, mainly 1938-1944, including letters from the American Federation of Labor, the Wisconsin State Federation of Labor, and Wisconsin congressmen on labor legislation, information on wartime wage scales for the building trades, and letters concerning the council's community and charitable work; financial records, 1895-1926; and roll call and payment books that serve as membership records for individuals and organizations. Also included are minutes of the Building Crafts Council, 1933-1940.
