Abstract:
Records of the Eau Claire (Wisconsiin) Civic Art Association which was founded in 1957 and governed by a Board of Trustees with representatives from the Art League, the Eau Claire Women's Club, the Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Catholic Women's Club, the Eau Claire Service League, and the Library Board. The Association established the Civic Art Center within the Eau Claire Public Library and opened its first exhibit, the First Hallmark Art Award Show, on April 9, 1958. The records consist of correspondence, minutes, flyers, brochures, newspaper clippings, and other miscellaneous information related to the Civic Art Association and the Civic Art Center.
