Abstract:
Records of the Eau Claire County Coordinating Committee (ECCC) consisting of minutes and newsletters, internal and external correspondence, committee reports, and administrative files. Included in the administrative files are membership and officer lists, numerous copies of their constitution with updates, and related correspondence. Also included are the records of the Civic Improvement and Recreation Committee, the Mental Health Committee, Health Committee, and the Social Services Committee consisting of membership and officer lists, reports, and related correspondence. Also included are the 1980 City of Eau Claire Citizen Participation Plan; and miscellaneous directories of social services agencies, and of clubs and organizations.

Biography/History

Organized in 1921, the Eau Claire County Coordinating Committee studied the needs, resources, and services which existed in Eau Claire County relative to health, welfare, education, recreation, and civic improvement in order to encourage the coordination of agencies, services, and individuals in Eau Claire County.
