Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of three, 16 mm film reels from the half-hour dramatic television series Man with a Camera, which aired on ABC from 1958 to 1960. The series featured Charles Bronson as Mike Kovac, a free-lance photo-journalist who acquires material by assisting police and solving crimes perpetrated against insurance companies.

A total of twenty-nine episodes were produced for Man With a Camera over its two season run. However, this collection contains only three original episodes from the series, consisting of 16 mm, black and white prints with sound. Each consists of one reel which runs approximately twenty to thirty minutes long. The visual quality of these prints is very good in general, but varies between individual reels.
