Material relating to the National Women's Conference held in Houston, Texas, November 18-21, 1977, attended by 14,000 people. The collection includes a program and proposed national plan of action, print and near-print materials distributed at the conference, and live recordings from the conference as well as an audio-visual presentation entitled "Declaration of American Women," and updates from the National Commission on the Observance of International Women's Year.
