Nancy A. Wright received her B. S. N. from Ohio State University in 1958 and her M. S. N. from Boston University in 1960. She was employed at Ohio State University and at the University of Wisconsin in Madison before joining the UWM School of Nursing in 1965.

Included in the collection are materials from a children and youth project, a high infant risk project, a community health education program, as well as information on parenting courses and studies involving parents of hospitalized children. The collection also contains materials from a 1968 trip to England, including publications from hospitals which Wright had contact with during her trip.
