Abstract:
Records of the local Milwaukee chapter of Jobs With Peace, an organization devoted to researching and analyzing the effects of government policies and spending on the economy. The collection documents the chapter's activites such as its "Build Homes Not Bombs" campaign, public forums for political candidates, voter registration and education, and efforts to prevent the 1991 Persian Gulf War. The collection also documents the chapter's activities with allied organizations and the national office of Jobs With Peace.
