Abstract:
Papers of the Wisconsin Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (WASCD), organized under the State Superintendent of Public Instruction to promote general improvement in instruction and supervision. Consists of articles of incorporation, financial records, correspondence, meeting minutes, pamphlets and newsletters, member lists, and conference materials. The collection includes information on the merger of this organization with the Wisconsin Association of County Supervising Teachers (WACST) in 1957 and copies of the constitution and bylaws. Part of the collection is composed of papers, 1927-1938, of the Wisconsin Conference of Grade Supervisors, which was dissolved in 1948 when WASCD was established.
