Papers of John M. Olin, a Madison, Wisconsin, attorney and lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Law School who was Prohibitionist candidate for governor in 1886 and later attorney for the Stalwart Republicans. The bulk of the collection is outgoing correspondence. Also includes incoming correspondence, docket books of his law cases, travel diaries, family papers, and photographs. The correspondence includes transcribed letters to Helen Remington Olin (his wife) from her family while she was a student at the University of Wisconsin. English
