Abstract:

Civil war papers of Captain Edward S. Redington, Company D, 28th Regiment Wisconsin Infantry, consisting of typewritten copies of letters written in 1862 and 1863 to his wife at Whitewater, Wisconsin, order books and report of the above company, and a roll book of the Pioneer Company of the 1st Division of the 7th Army Corps, to which Redington was assigned as captain commanding at its formation in 1863.
