Abstract:

Dockets recording actions taken in civil and criminal cases brought before the justices of the peace indicating the names of the plaintiff and defendant, and in some cases those of their attorneys, the complaint entered, dates of various actions and proceedings, court costs, a short summary of the case, and the verdict given. There are a number of gaps between the volumes. Some volumes contain records of marriages performed by the justice of the peace. Most volumes include a name index.
