Papers of an award-winning news broadcaster with WRC/WRC-TV in
Washington, D.C., chiefly consisting of scripts of human interest
stories broadcast by Emphasis, Monitor, and other NBC
network radio news programs, and editorials on local, national, and
international news events broadcast by WRC-TV. Of special interest
among the editorials are his commentaries on the 1960 Presidential
election and the Cuban missile crisis. Fragmentary correspondence
includes audience mail, inter-office memos, and congratulatory letters
from Hale Boggs, Julian Goodman, James C. Hagerty, J. Edgar Hoover,
Hubert H. Humphrey, Kenneth Keating, Robert Kintner, Lee Metcalf,
Richard M. Nixon, Lawrence R. O'Brien, and A. A. Schechter.
