Abstract:

The Task Force on Teaching and Teacher Education was assembled in 1982 to research education practices and standards regarding the Teacher Incentive Pilot Program (TIPP). The collection includes background information of the task force, meeting minutes and notes, public hearings, correspondence, press, presentations, and the final report, which was published in 1984. Along with the task force information there is also supplemental research that was conducted, including articles on education, standards, and policies for Wisconsin, as well as the rest of the United States.
