Abstract:

Series contains two distinct indexes to prisoners who were housed at Waupun State Prison, 1850-2001. The bulk of the series is comprised of alphabetically arranged Master File Cards, April 1, 1850-July 1, 1997, which are arranged alphabetically and provide biographical information about prisoners, information about their crime, and their Wisconsin State Prison registration number or T-Number. There are two series of Security Picture Cards with overlapping years, 1947-2001, which are alphabetically arranged, and include a picture of the prisoner, a physical description, crime information, and T-Number.
