Abstract:
Daily schedules (called briefings by the governor's staff) of Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle from 2002-2011, including notes and associated material. Some schedules include lead staff memos describing the event, expected attendance, and other information. Most boxes have separate folders for briefings and invitations, though some have invitations filed in briefings folders. Some briefings are only available electronically; these are listed by specific date on the container list. There are also monthly calendars used by the Governor's staff to manage the scheduling process. These calendars provide a month-at-a-glance look at Governor Doyle's schedule, and index the daily schedule. This accession also includes files on specific events, conferences, travel, and visits maintained by the scheduling office, primarily for the Democratic Governors Association (DGA), National Governors Association (NGA), and events at the Executive Residence.
