Abstract:

Railroad plat maps (1917) showing the position of railroads in Wisconsin cities, towns, and counties statewide; bridge and road crossings; a few details about land surrounding the railroad; and elevations. There are also station maps which show a detailed view of the city or town showing streets, buildings, and subdivisions along with the railroads. Status maps (scattered 1928-2002) are a state view of railroad status showing operating, abandoned, and trackless railroads. They also list the railroad companies operating in Wisconsin for the year of the map.
