Correspondence, memoranda, and background information of Martin J. Schreiber, who served as lieutenant governor during the Patrick J. Lucey administration, together with some miscellaneous subject files documenting his earlier career (1963-1970) as a state senator from Milwaukee. In 1977 Schreiber became acting governor when Lucey was appointed U.S. ambassador to Mexico.
