Abstract:
Records, 1922-1961, including narrative, statistical, and pictorial records and correspondence documenting educational demonstrations and medical benefit programs of the Bureau of Maternal and Child Health. Included are records on the emergency maternity and infant care program, hearing demonstrations, maternal and child health centers, maternal and child health demonstrations, an obstetrical education program, trailer classrooms, work with the Wisconsin Emergency Relief Administration, normal school evaluations, and other activities. The visual materials document various programs, including mobile health care services, children's health examinations, and classes for mothers and children.
